Environmental Science


Environmental Science has emerged as one of the fastest growing career fields and its importance becomes ever more apparent with the rapid environmental changes occurring worldwide in the twenty-first century. It is an interdisciplinary science that seeks to improve air and water quality, reduce natural habitat loss and degradation, and mitigate global change. The Environmental Science program at Columbus State University is structured to develop creative and innovative scientists who have the skills and critical thinking skills they will need to become leaders in this fundamentally important field.
